Coverage for single-family houses

In this project we have worked on the rehabilitation of an old farmhouse in the municipality of Bàscara.

The main focus has been on the roof, where we have been interested in maintaining the old vision of the farmhouse, improving all its load-bearing, thermal, acoustic and visual capacities.

In this case, we have differentiated between a more familiar space, where the house has a more modern vision, with a more isolated and comfortable roof, and a more rustic space where the economic activity of the house will be developed.

The highlight of this project is the creation of a large wooden and glass skylight in the middle of the house, creating a very bright space.

Several decks, assembled in two weeks, give this building material a speed of construction and a finish that is very different from other, better known materials.
