Pallars Fustes has been selected as a finalist for the Values in Corporate Social Commitment Award, an accolade that forms part of the 39th edition of the PIMEC Awards.<\/p>\n
The candidate was chosen by a live vote from the audience at the inaugural edition of Girona Empresa, held at the Palau de Congressos Auditorium in Girona. The event, organised by PIMEC Girona and the PIMEC Foundation with the support of the Girona Provincial Council, brought together more than 250 entrepreneurs from the Girona region. <\/p>\n
The candidate companies submitted initiatives linked to social commitment, sustainability and a positive impact on the territory. The vote placed Pallars Fustes among the three Girona-based companies as finalists. <\/p>\n
The Values in Corporate Social Commitment Award will be presented on 30 September at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, during the PIMEC Awards gala.<\/p>\n
Girona Empresa was created to recognise the small and medium-sized enterprises that contribute to building a more humane, cohesive society, rooted in its territory.<\/p>\n
During the session, an idea was put forward that we fully share: business growth only makes sense when it is accompanied by values. Competitiveness does not depend solely on results, but also on how you lead, how you relate to people and how you contribute to the environment. <\/p>\n
Results explain what a company has achieved, but values explain how it got there.<\/p>\n
At Pallars Fustes, we understand our work from this perspective. We work in the engineering, manufacture and assembly of timber structures and houses, but we are also part of a territory, a community and a network of professionals and companies with whom we share every project.<\/strong><\/p>\n Wood enables us to move towards more efficient, responsible and environmentally connected construction.
